Description

Phenyl Trimethicone is a polylmethylsiloxane which improves the performance of most cosmetic formulations. This product is easy to emulsify with standard emulsifiers by common techniques. It provides better properties, such as resistant to oxidation, and good compatibility with cosmetic ingredients.
Phenyl Trimethicone is a derivative of silica, or silcione, and is used in cosmetics and beauty products as an anti-foaming agent, hair conditioning agent, and skin-conditioning agent. It reduces the tendency of formulas to generate foam when shaken, and increases hair's body, suppleness, and sheen, by improving the texture of hair that has been damaged by chemical treatment.

Uses

1. Good compatibility with cosmetic ingredients, reduce the tackiness and stickiness of organic ingredients in formulations.
- skin lotions and creams.
- suntan lotions and sprays.
- pre-shave lotions.
2. Enhance opaque material dispersion effect on physical preservatives and make-up products.
- Make-up products: lipstick, foundation and so on.
3. Used as a hair gloss agent in hair sprays,conditions and grooming brightener.
